Abstract
 The effectiveness of Quality of Service (QoS) of High Performance Computing (HPC) applications running on Cloud computing environment plays a significant role. Required QoS will be provided by efficient consolidation of Virtual Machines (VMs) on Cloud data centers. This paper proposes a simulation based approach through efficient VM consolidation for deploying on-demand HPC applications on virtualized Cloud data centers. The evidence from our approach points a significant improvement in VM migrations while providing required QoS.
